I was talking to a lovely friend earlier, and we both agreed we've been feeling the weight of this lockdown (is it the 3rd? I think?) more strongly. I'm fortunate to be in an 'ideal' situation, being on a gap year and at home. But that also means that every day can feel like one continuous thread of never-ending days. I'm enjoying them, but there is that sense of...where does it end?

When things first started in 2020, the general thought was that things should be "back to normal" by the end of the year (I believe people thought the same thing about the world wars!). Thus, I think a main reason we've felt it more these last couple of weeks is because it's a new year, and things still seem the same (at least for our personal circumstances).

So I wanted to check in with all of you and ask how you're doing with these Groundhog days! In the words of Dickens, any burdens I can lighten for you?โค๏ธ

I found it so amazing to see what he actually wrote all those years ago, in 1843!
