Childhood returning like sunshine
To dust off your wings
And remind you how it felt to fly
Last week on the retreat in Yorkshire, we made flower crowns and did a photoshoot wearing them, along with these gorgeous wings by @auburnandpeaches. As soon as we put them on, I noticed how we all began to dance and twirl across the grass, wings and hair ruffled by the breeze in the sunshine. It was pure joy๐
I love the fact that we were able to dress up as fairies (under the guise of a photoshoot of course๐) - it felt like being transported to a world where we could just play in our imagination again.

Feeling joyful is different from feeling peaceful (although this was both simultaneously). We often have moments of peace, because it can come along with relief, or even tiredness, suggesting an absence of chaos - but in terms of fulfilling, whole-hearted, childlike JOY...
